My sister was placed by Kaiser for rehabilitation due to a fall down outdoor stairs. When Kaiser released her after 20 days, she needed to remain in the facility until extensive care could be arranged. During the 3 weeks she was a private pay patient, not one time did the staff help her up to get out of bed to walk. Not once did a staff member get her out of her bed or assist her in sitting up.
The therapy is excellent, and the therapists are good. As far as being clean, you can give the place a three or four. The rooms are very crowded having three patients to a room. They have a big window, and they do have cleaning every day, but somehow it doesn't look that clean. Sunnyside Nursing Center is located in Torrance,California on So.
